First night, March 12, 2019 at the room at Wyndham Bayside, I look out and catch the last light of day. And what a day, I find the sailing ship India now is lit up as it sits in the bay. It's about 64 degrees and I am finishing up getting ready for tomorrow, I will be touring the Midway and going to San Diego Zoo. The flight was good, just a couple hours in the air, landing there in San Diego takes you right over the city, got the whole picture, and a nice couple next to me pointed out the bay and some of the other areas of interest, as it seemed from the air most of my touring would be right near where I would be staying.
I walked to the sky walk once I had my luggage and over to public transportation, there I caught a free shuttle to the Wyndham at Bay side, the van was full, I was soon checked in and unpacked and made my way to the beach and started my vacation. See other blogs for tours and pictures.

OCEAN BORN MARY
In Henniker NH.
Wallace is the family name, Mary wed in the silk given to her parents from the Pirate Captain, to a large and well known family in these parts, her husband and two of her five children rest here.
CINDERELLA'S CASTLE
I checked in for the next three nights I would be living here in the castle in Nassua. I was on the fourth floor on the eastern wing. A good long walk from the entrance and opposite end from the gym and pool. A long walk way through the brick wall with murals in the basement of the castle, with slight curve on the center leads you to the fitness center. I swam the last night before heading into town for dinner. Great place to spend a birthday, in my own room at the castle in Nassua.
LOOKING UP
Not the Sistine Chappel but this ceiling is certainly most like it. Entering the Boston fine Arts museum takes you to a stairway where this beautiful display of art is found. First and last place I visited on my visit to the museum, I spent about three hours here before leaving Boston on the 20th when I then drove to Nassua NH for the last leg of my trip. Lunch and viewing the hallways of numerous displays from American, European and Asian art. Paintings, furniture and sculptures, so much to see.
TEA FOR TWO
MANSIONS
Stayed at Longwood Inn at Brooklyn, MA. Lovely mansion remodeled.
I went up the front stairway here , walked the upstairs hallway to a back stair case that brought me down to the kitchen area where another stairway took be down to my room and a laundry area. I was glad when I arrived Monday at midnight after a long train ride and taxi to Longwood I wouldn't be climbing the front stair case with all the luggage I was carrying with me. What a comfortable and awesome place to stay.
